Full-time Receptionist/Secretary

The Village of Mt. Zion is taking applications for a full-time Receptionist/Secretary.  Applicants must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and Publisher.  Starting salary is $10.00/hr. plus benefits including health insurance, IMRF, paid vacation, sick and personal leave. Director of Parks and Recreation

The Village of Mt. Zion, Illinois (pop. 5,833) is seeking applications for a full-time Director of Parks and Recreation. Applicant should have a bachelor’s degree (BA) in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies or similar field; 1-3 years’ experience in a management role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Parks and Recreation Department. Desirable candidates should have the ability to provide effective leadership within the organization and develop and maintain positive working relationships with village employees, board and commission members and the public. Salary $30,000 DOQ plus benefits including health insurance, IMRF Retirement, Paid Holiday, Vacation and Sick time, and Dental Coverage.
