Welcome to a web-preview of the Mt. Zion Convention Center. The Center is just about done and is going through the final inspection and walk through at this time. As I have mentioned before, we have an Open House scheduled for December 3 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. You will be able to tour both the Village Hall and the Convention Center. Our catering partner for the Convention Center, Secret Recipes, will be present to showcase various layouts for the great hall as well as present some of their culinary offerings that can complement your special event.
The Mt. Zion Convention Center is focused around a great hall (for lack of a better name at this time) that can be divided into three almost equal, sound isolated smaller banquet halls (Halls A, B, and C). Each hall has its own lighting control, sound system and the middle hall has a solid floor for dancing if desired. So combining the middle hall with one or both outer halls provides a dining and dancing area. One of the halls has a drop down screen/projection system that can be viewed by all three halls.
The Great Hall can handle approximately 88 – 8’ x 8’ booths if your event requires exhibition facilities. Otherwise tables for up to 850 people can be set up depending upon podium/head table requirements or requirements for a dance space.
On an individual basis both Halls A & C can handle tables for up to 244 guests (each hall) again depending upon podium or head table requirements. And the middle hall (B) can handle up to 204 guests with a head table setup. Now for the math majors out there – yes the individual hall seating does not equal the total of the great hall seating because efficiencies are gained when the hall dividing partitions are down and there is only one head table.
The hall provides a full kitchen facility where Secret Recipes will prepare your banquet’s dining requirements to your specifications along with two bartending areas for mixed drinks, beer and soft drinks.
Now while the great hall is the main focus we also have two identical smaller conference rooms (324 SF) that can be rented. Also on the Village Hall side of the building is a conference room with 1,100 SF.
