Police Explorers

Training Members of Post #2043 are offered a wide variety of training, which includes: • Police Ethics • Motor Vehicle Stops • Crime Scene Investigation • Motor Vehicle Crash Investigation • Domestic Violence • Police Communications • Traffic/Crowd Control • Police Department Operations • Juvenile Law • Hostage Negotiations • Police Investigations • Traffic Law • Building Searches • DUI Arrests • And much more Explorer Ride-Along Program The purpose of the Explorer Ride-Along Program is to give members a first-hand look at police work and to supplement classroom training. In order to take part in the Ride-Along Program members must be at least 16 years old, show good attendance at meetings, complete one-year of post membership, and receive parent’s permission. Members Adult: • Chief Doug Dunn – Executive Officer • Lieutenant Mike Having – Post Advisor • Officer Adam Skundberg – Associate Advisor • Officer Mark McNicol – Post Committee Chairman • Dispatcher Sue Zerfowski – Post Committee Member.  Senior Explorers: • Cory McNicol • Martin Smith
