Training Members of Post #2043 are offered a wide variety of training, which includes: Police Ethics Motor Vehicle Stops Crime Scene Investigation Motor Vehicle Crash Investigation Domestic Violence Police Communications Traffic/Crowd Control Police Department Operations Juvenile Law Hostage Negotiations Police Investigations Traffic Law Building Searches DUI Arrests And much more Explorer Ride-Along Program The purpose of the Explorer Ride-Along Program is to give members a first-hand look at police work and to supplement classroom training. In order to take part in the Ride-Along Program members must be at least 16 years old, show good attendance at meetings, complete one-year of post membership, and receive parents permission.
