Storm Water pollution can affect the environment you live in and the water you drink. Recycle or properly dispose of household products that contain chemicals, such as insecticides, pesticides, paint solvents, and used motor oil and other auto fluids. Don’t pour them onto the ground or into storm drains. Major sources of pollution in residential areas include lawn care products, septic systems, auto care, and pet waste.
